Tax Associate | Bloomington, MN
Craving a tax desk that teaches you the craft instead of burying you in volume? A growing public accounting practice known for retention and teamwork is hiring a Tax Associate for its Bloomington office.
About the Role:
- Build fluency in firm tax software and processes with senior support
- Prepare individual, partnership, corporate and S corporation returns
- Gather client data and answer routine questions with professionalism
- Draft responses to IRS and state notices under supervision
- Research technical questions and write clear memos
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of public accounting tax experience
- CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) eligible, or actively pursuing either credential
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
- Exposure to CCH Axcess, UltraTax or similar tax software
- Working grasp of federal and state tax concepts
