A growing structural steel company in Houston, TX is hiring a licensed Project Engineer to run their own projects start to finish and stamp calculations and drawings. This is the senior engineer seat on the team, with a junior engineer working toward his PE to mentor.
Position Details
- Full-time, in-office Monday-Friday
- $100K-$130K starting range, negotiable for the right person

What You'll Do
- Own structural steel design projects from kickoff through final drawings
- Prepare, check and stamp calculations and drawings
- Work on commercial and industrial projects
- Coordinate with detailing, fabrication and project management
- Mentor a junior engineer
What You Bring
- BS in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Active Texas PE license (required); other state licenses a plus
- About 10 years of experience focused on structural/steel design (not heavy civil roads, drainage or transportation)
- Proven ability to manage projects independently
