gpac has partnered with an established manufacturing company seeking a hands-on Purchasing & Inventory Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate supplier pricing and terms, monitor vendor performance, and expedite critical materials.
- Improve inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and corrective actions.
- Reduce shortages, excess inventory, material costs, and production disruptions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong understanding of raw materials and manufacturing processes; steel, fabrication, or machining experience preferred.
- Strong ERP/MRP skills
- Proven supplier negotiation and continuous improvement experience.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
