A well-established local electrical contractor is looking to add an experienced Electrical Service Manager to their team. The company has a strong backlog of local commercial and industrial projects and is looking for someone who can lead service work and keep customers taken care of.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Service Manager who wants to grow with an established local contractor and focus on work in the local market rather than constant travel.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the electrical service team
- Oversee service calls, small projects, and special projects from start to finish
- Coordinate scheduling, manpower, materials, and equipment
- Maintain strong customer relationships and respond to service needs
- Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and company leadership
- Ensure service work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality
- Support estimating and quoting for service and small project work
- Troubleshoot field issues and help develop solutions
- Monitor service backlog and keep work moving
- Train and mentor service technicians as needed
Requirements:
- Previous Electrical Service Manager, Service Project Manager, or similar experience
- Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical background
- Ability to lead technicians and manage multiple service jobs
- Strong customer-facing communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications preferred
- Knowledge of the local electrical market is a plus
