West Alabama is quickly becoming a serious destination for data center and mission-critical investment, and a well-established general contractor is adding a Senior Project Manager to help lead the way. If you enjoy running big, technical projects, building great teams and keeping owners happy from day one through turnover, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Lead data center and mission-critical builds from preconstruction and buyout all the way through commissioning and closeout
- Manage budgets, schedules, subcontracts, change orders and monthly cost forecasts with confidence
- Be the go-to partner for owners, engineers, design teams and trade partners
- Map out procurement for long-lead gear like switchgear, generators, UPS systems, transformers and mechanical cooling equipment
- Partner closely with superintendents on safety, quality, phasing and integrated systems testing
- Coach and grow project managers, assistant project managers and project engineers
What You Bring
- Senior-level project management experience with a general contractor, including data center or mission-critical construction (required)
- A history of delivering large, complex projects safely, on schedule and on budget
- Strong knowledge of MEP coordination, commissioning levels and critical power and cooling systems
- An approachable, clear communication style with owners, design teams and field leaders
- A degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
What We Offer
Competitive salary, bonus and benefits, a steady pipeline of mission-critical work in the region, and a leadership seat where your voice shapes how projects get built.
