A community bank in Indianola is confidentially seeking a Commercial Lender to grow business relationships across Warren County and central Iowa. You'll bring in new clients, underwrite and structure credit, close loans, and service a commercial portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Call on local business owners to build a healthy commercial pipeline
- Understand each client's plans and match them with loan and deposit products
- Review business and owner financials to structure sound credit
- Write loan memos, prepare documents, and carry deals through closing
- Open new accounts and introduce treasury management services
- Hit growth goals while keeping the portfolio in good shape
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred
- Track record in commercial lending or business banking
- Confident presenting loan proposals to owners and committee
- Hands-on underwriting and credit analysis skills
- Well organized and comfortable running several deals at once
