Audit Senior
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Overview
An established accounting, tax and advisory firm is seeking an Audit Senior for its audit and assurance practice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You will help deliver attest services, communicate key information to engagement leadership, and assist with planning and completing risk-based audits, including financial statement preparation. Hybrid work is available.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial statement audits, reviews and compilations across a variety of industries
- Perform and document audit procedures over complex accounting areas
- Work with client management to gather information, resolve problems and recommend process improvements
- Research and analyze accounting and audit issues
- Use data extraction, analytics and visualization tools to bring insight to clients
- Supervise, train and mentor staff and interns
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
- 3+ years of public accounting experience
- CPA license eligibility
- Data extraction, analytics and visualization experience
- Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills
- Self-starter able to prioritize and meet deadlines
