Job Description
- Analyze financial and operational data across parcel storage, regional transportation, and last-mile delivery operations to support forecasting and business planning.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate shipment volume trends, regional demand changes, operational profitability, and key cost drivers such as labor, fuel, vehicle usage, and third-party vendor expenses
- Perform variance analysis between forecasted and actual results and provide explanations to improve financial accuracy and cost control.
- Prepare periodic financial and operational reports, including performance summaries and forecast-to-actual comparisons, for management review.
- Analyze cost-per-package, warehouse throughput, storage utilization, and delivery route efficiency, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide recommendations to support route planning, fleet utilization, and warehouse operations with a focus on cost optimization.
- Collaborate with operations teams to collect, validate, and analyze financial and operational data.
- Assist in budgeting processes and monitor performance against budget projections, while supporting pricing analysis, profitability analysis, and return-on-investment (ROI) evaluation.
- Support evaluation of logistics-related initiatives and provide financial insights to assist management decision-making.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a foreign equivalent.
- Must have 2 years of full-time work experience in financial forecasting, cost modeling, and pricing analysis within a logistics, supply chain, transportation, or delivery environment, including operational cost analysis and financial data analysis.
- Must be able to perform financial modeling and profitability analysis using standard financial methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF) methods.
