Who we are looking for
We are seeking a hands-on Controller to take ownership of accounting, reporting, and financial planning activities for a growing business unit. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting expertise with a business-oriented mindset, enjoys working independently, and is eager to become a trusted business partner supporting operational and financial decision-making. Salary Range: 140K-150K
What you will do
- Lead all controllership activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Prepare management reports, financial analyses, forecasts, and budgets.
- Partner closely with business leaders and support financial decision-making across the organization.
- Monitor financial performance and provide insights on actual results versus forecasts and budgets.
- Support compliance with public company requirements, internal controls, and SOX-related processes.
- Collaborate with accounting staff and provide professional guidance and leadership.
- Drive process improvements and help scale financial operations in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Work closely with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong accounting and controllership background. Must.
- Experience managing financial close and reporting processes. Must.
- Experience in a public company environment and familiarity with SOX controls. Must.
- Experience building forecasts, budgets, or financial analyses. Advantage.
- CPA certification. Advantage.
- Experience using SAP. Advantage.
- Big 4 background. Advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate in a hands-on environment.
- Strong communication and business partnering skills.
