Rock-It Cargo, a division of the Rock-It Company, is the dedicated division to live touring and delivers specialized logistics for live concerts and musical events around the world. From arena and stadium tours to festivals and other live music experiences, the team manages multimodal freight, customs and ATA Carnets, air cargo charters, storage and on-site logistics across complex, time-critical touring schedules. As a full-time Warehouse Agent, you will work from our Los Angeles office and assist the Rock-it Cargo Operations team. As a team-member the ideal candidate will have a great opportunity to learn about project-based logistics and operations with room to grow within the company. We are looking to welcome someone with a bright and quick disposition to the Rock-it Cargo team. Your ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding machines will be critical to your success in this role. Additionally, having experience in a customer service role will enable you to provide exceptional service to our clients and vendors. Location: Los Angeles, California Work Schedule: Schedule fluctuates based on workloads during weekdays with after hours / weekend work as needed for support.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming/outgoing shipments
- Packing, wrapping, labeling and/or shipping orders
- Managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in warehouse
- Safely Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding equipment
- Loading and unloading trucks/ocean containers
- Building and breaking down skids/airline pallets
- Maintain shipping and receiving logs
- Accepting and processing incoming materials
- Other warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Sharp attention to detail and ability to proactively problem solve
- Punctual and dependable
- Excellent communication skills
- Must wear protective gear and steel-toed shoes
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Strong prioritization, planning, and time management skills
- Comfort with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and basic computer knowledge
- Must possess valid identification, preferably a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a security background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of warehouse experience
- Forklift certification
- Experience with inventory management software
- Experience in a customer service role
