About the Role:
We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals for 3rd Shift warehouse positions in Union, NJ. Responsibilities include picking, loading, sorting, and preparing products for distribution in a fast-paced, refrigerated warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, sort, load, and organize warehouse products.
- Maintain product accuracy, quality, and safety standards.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Work efficiently in refrigerated and occasional freezer conditions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in refrigerated or cold storage warehouses required.
- Experience in picking, loading, and/or sorting required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding warehouse tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working overnight shifts.
Position Details:
- Location: Union, NJ
- Employment Type: Temporary
- Shift: 3rd Shift / Overnight
- Hours: Typically 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM or 5:00 AM, depending on operational needs.
Cold Storage & Clothing Requirements:
- Working Temperatures: Regular exposure to 30°F–36°F, with occasional freezer exposure as low as -10°F.
- Required Clothing: All temporary employees must provide their own appropriate cold-weather clothing, including warm layers, insulated jackets, gloves, and suitable footwear.
- Important: Candidates must have previous cold storage experience and be fully prepared to work in these temperature conditions.
