Position Summary:
Franklin County Technical School seeks a reliable, hardworking individual for an immediate part-time Dishwasher/Kitchen Support opening for the 2026–2027 school year. This position supports our fast-paced cafeteria team by washing dishes and kitchen equipment; maintaining clean, organized, and sanitary work areas; receiving and storing food and supply deliveries; removing trash; and assisting kitchen staff with daily tasks. The successful candidate must be punctual, able to stand for extended periods, and able to safely lift and move boxes and supplies.
Qualifications:
●Foodservice experience, preferred ●Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. ●Able to work effectively in a fast-paced cafeteria environment. ●Able to follow directions and work cooperatively with others. ●Able to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical tasks. ●Able to safely lift and move boxes and supplies. ●Committed to maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace.
Responsibilities:
●Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment. ●Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and work areas. ●Clean floors, counters, and other surfaces as needed. ●Unload and properly store food and supply deliveries. ●Safely lift and move boxes, supplies, and equipment. ●Remove trash and recycling. ●Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. ●Assist kitchen staff with daily tasks as needed.
