- Summary: Must have the aptitude to learn to perform Aircraft Component maintenance (inspect, test, repair, overhaul) based on customer requirements and component condition. Performs additional duties as directed by management.
Duties:
- Maintain safe work habits at all times
- Comply with ALL regulatory agency (OSHA, EPA, FAA, etc.) requirements at all times
- Performs maintenance repairs/overhauls on assigned components
- Completes cleaning tasks on assigned components
- Completes inspection requirements on assigned components
- Completes test requirements on assigned components
- Communicate/research problem situations that cannot be remedied within assigned sections to the Master Technician, Production Manager or associated personnel
- Ensure cleanliness of assigned work area and test areas
- Verify unit performance by conducting test runs
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to pass a reading comprehension and mechanical aptitude test.
