What You’ll Do as Assistant Manager You’ll partner with the General Manager to manage daily operations and help ensure every guest has a fast, friendly, and accurate experience.
- Lead during shifts: motivate and support team members to deliver great service
- Train and coach: help staff follow recipes, procedures, and hospitality standards
- Support operations: assist with scheduling, inventory, food cost, and labor management
- Keep it clean and safe: maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant
- Serve the guest: ensure guests receive service that’s quick, friendly, and accurate
- Support hiring: help with recruiting and onboarding new team members
- Uphold our standards: follow Firehouse Subs policies, safety requirements, and brand culture
- Step in confidently: run shifts independently when the General Manager is not present
- Be community-minded: promote Foundation initiatives and represent the brand in the local area
What We’re Looking For
- Prior restaurant or retail shift-lead experience preferred, but we welcome motivated leadership from many backgrounds
- Strong communication and people leadership skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, active environment
- A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
- A commitment to excellent guest service and team support
