Build a Sales Career Where Your Effort Matters Are you competitive, coachable, great with people, and looking for an opportunity where your hard work can actually accelerate your career? You may be exactly who we're looking for. Express Homebuyers is growing our Springfield, Virginia sales team and hiring Inside Sales Associates to connect with homeowners, uncover their needs, build trust, and create opportunities for our Homebuying team. You don't need years of real estate experience. We can teach you real estate, our systems, and our sales process. What we're looking for is harder to teach: work ethic, character, curiosity, persistence, communication skills, and the desire to become exceptional at what you do. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply. About Express Homebuyers For more than 20 years, Express Homebuyers has helped homeowners sell their properties and move forward with their lives. We've bought and sold thousands of homes, and we've built our business by solving problems, treating people fairly, continually improving, and doing what we say we're going to do. We're a real estate company - but ultimately, we're in the people business. The homeowners who contact us aren't simply leads on a screen. They're real people making significant decisions about their homes and their lives. That's why we care about how we sell just as much as we care about results. Our Core Values Perseverance - Never Give Up. Always Keep Fighting. Challenges are part of business and sales. We embrace them, keep going, and find a way to get the job done. You will hear “no.” People won't always call you back. Deals won't always go as planned. What you do next matters. Fairness - Do What's Right. We treat homeowners, teammates, and business partners fairly - even when doing the right thing isn't necessarily the easiest choice. We want to win, but never at the expense of doing what's right. Learn & Improve - Get Better Every Day. We believe small improvements compound into extraordinary results. We train, practice, ask for feedback, learn from mistakes, and take responsibility for making things better. Being coachable isn't optional here. Candor & Humility - Team, Not Ego. We communicate openly and address issues directly. We want people who can speak honestly, receive feedback, admit when they're wrong, leave their ego at the door, and move forward as a team. Ownership & Freedom - Own Your Results. We believe freedom comes from ownership. Take responsibility for your time, activity, pipeline, results, and ultimately your career. We give people room to succeed, so we want people who take initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do. What You'll Do As an Inside Sales Associate, you'll be one of the first people a homeowner speaks with when they're considering selling their property. You'll connect by phone, text, and email to understand what's happening, determine whether Express Homebuyers may be able to help, and turn qualified opportunities into appointments for our Homebuying team. · Respond quickly to new homeowner leads and make outbound follow-up calls · Ask thoughtful questions to understand the homeowner's situation, property, motivation, and timeline · Build genuine rapport and trust · Qualify potential opportunities and schedule appointments for our Homebuying team · Consistently follow up with homeowners who aren't ready to make a decision today · Manage your pipeline and activity in our CRM · Participate in sales training, coaching, role-playing, and team meetings · Meet and exceed daily and weekly performance goals · Take ownership of your pipeline and results This isn't about reading a script and pressuring someone into an appointment. It's about asking great questions, listening carefully, understanding the problem, building trust, and helping people determine the right next step. How We'll Measure Success · Calls and meaningful homeowner conversations · Speed and consistency of lead follow-up · Qualified appointments scheduled and appointment attendance · Lead-to-appointment conversion · Follow-up effectiveness · CRM accuracy and activity · Contribution to closed transactions We believe in accountability - and in giving you the training, coaching, systems, and feedback necessary to improve. Who We're Looking For We're less concerned about having the “perfect résumé” and more interested in finding exceptional people. You may be a great fit if you are: · Competitive - you like setting goals and beating them · Driven - you don't need someone constantly pushing you · Coachable - feedback makes you better rather than defensive · Persistent - rejection doesn't derail you · Curious - you naturally ask questions and want to understand people · A great communicator and strong listener · Organized and accountable - you follow through on what you say you'll do · Comfortable with technology and willing to learn and consistently use our CRM · Team-oriented - you want the people around you to succeed too Previous experience in sales, customer service, property management, home services, hospitality, athletics, or another performance-driven environment is valuable. Real estate experience is a plus, but it's not required for the right person. Recent College Graduates - We Want to Meet You If you're finishing college or recently graduated and finding that every “entry-level” opportunity somehow wants three years of experience, don't let that stop you from applying. We're interested in what you've actually demonstrated. Were you a college athlete who learned discipline, teamwork, and how to perform under pressure? Did you work your way through school? Spend summers doing physically demanding work? Work in property management or home services? Wait tables, sell memberships, make cold calls, run a side hustle, or learn how to upsell customers? We can teach you our business. Bring us the work ethic. Compensation & Benefits We believe strong performance should be rewarded. You'll have the security of a solid base salary combined with the ability to significantly increase your income based on your results. · Base Salary: $4,000 per month ($48,000/year) · Total Expected Annual Compensation: $60,000–$100,000+ · Performance-based commission with uncapped earning potential · Health insurance · 401(k) with company matching · Paid training and ongoing sales coaching · Professional development · Career advancement opportunities · Supportive, high-performing team environment The better you become, the more opportunity you have to earn.
