Original job description
- Education:
- High school diploma or GED (minimum requirement).
- Additional coursework or certification in logistics or inventory management is a plus (Not required).
- Experience:
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and inventory control.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and data entry skills.
- Ability to operate forklifts (Seated / Standing forklift), pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment (KALMAR Operator/experience is a PLUS)
- Good organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (often up to 25 lbs. one-person lift or up to 50 lbs. two people lift).
- Comfortable standing, walking, and performing physical tasks indoors and outdoors for extended periods.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- SAP knowledge is a PLUS
- Experience with RF Scanner, barcode scanners, or handheld inventory devices (is a PLUS)
- Ability to operate under minimum supervision
- Work Ethic:
- Dependable and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be willing or able to work flexible hours or overtime (Friday and/or Saturday) if needed.
