Custom Fabrication • Carpentry • Production Leadership Know how to build it - and lead the team that delivers it? ID3 Group is seeking an experienced, hands-on Shop Foreman who understands custom fabrication and can take charge of daily shop production. We need a proven industry professional who can read the drawings, plan the work, recognize problems, and lead skilled craftspeople through demanding builds. What You’ll Own
- Direct daily production, assign work, and keep multiple projects on schedule.
- Interpret blueprints and shop drawings; guide layout, fabrication, and assembly.
- Bring strong carpentry and millwork knowledge to custom builds.
- Inspect workmanship, resolve production challenges, and hold teams accountable for quality and productivity.
- Coordinate labor, materials, and priorities with Project Managers and Operations.
- Enforce safety procedures, required PPE, and documented training and authorization before equipment use.
Experience Required
- 5+ years in custom fabrication or a closely related industry.
- 2+ years as a foreman, supervisor, or skilled-trades team lead.
- Strong carpentry, blueprint-reading, layout, and fabrication skills.
- Proven ability to lead shop teams, troubleshoot builds, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in exhibits, scenic fabrication, experiential environments, themed entertainment, or custom millwork is highly valued.
You should be comfortable stepping onto the shop floor, understanding the build, and giving clear direction. This role requires technical judgment, leadership, and follow-through. In-person production role requiring physical shop work and occasional extended hours. Essential functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
