Key Responsibilities and Requirements

Source and purchase materials, parts, supplies, and services needed for production and operations
·
Request and evaluate supplier quotes based on price, quality, availability, lead time, and terms
·
Create, issue, and maintain accurate purchase orders
·
Monitor open orders, confirm delivery dates, and follow up on shortages, delays, or discrepancies
·
Build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and internal departments
·
Coordinate with production, inventory, engineering, and accounting to support purchasing needs
·
Review inventory levels and purchasing data to help prevent material shortages and excess stock
·
Resolve pricing, quality, invoice, and delivery issues with suppliers
·
Maintain organized purchasing records and supplier documentation
·
Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, organization, and attention to detail
·
Previous purchasing, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, or supply chain experience preferred
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Purchaser / Buyer to source materials and components, manage supplier relationships, issue purchase orders, monitor inventory needs, and help ensure production receives quality parts on schedule and at competitive costs.
