We are looking to identify talented and dedicated candidates for a Inventory-Storeroom Clerk position supporting Maintenance operations. The Inventory-Storeroom Clerk will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely availability of materials, and supporting efficient operations within our industrial facility.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming materials, parts, and supplies.
- Verify quantities and quality received against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Properly label and store items in designated locations within the storeroom.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems or manual logs.
- Process requisitions and distribute materials to production or maintenance departments as requested.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventories to reconcile discrepancies.
- Create bin locations and labels for new inventory items.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies for handling hazardous materials or equipment.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the storeroom and associated storage areas.
Requirements
- 2 years of previous warehouse experience required.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, and every other weekend.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Inventory, data entry, and computer skills required.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 10–50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing more than 100 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and regularly stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures depending on the season.
- Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills required.
- Must be dependable and reliable.
- Must be able to pass drug screening.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
