The Technology Manager is responsible for accomplishing this mission by developing, implementing and coordinating the library's electronic environment and facilitating electronic training
POSITION DUTIES:
Assigns work and delegates responsibility
Assists departments with evaluation and selection of electronic resources
Assists with establishing and maintaining order in the library
Attends meetings and serves on internal and external committees
Coordinates the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of electronic services
Coordinates the purchase of hardware and software
Determines necessary staffing and recommends staffing levels
Develops and administers department budget
Develops and/or conducts in-service training on emerging technologies, equipment, and new software applications
