Sr Java Software Developer
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a small, mission-focused engineering team supporting customer applications and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development and Linux skills, experience with modern development tools and technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain Java-based applications and software solutions.
• Develop and support RESTful services and application integrations.
• Work with Git, Gradle, Guice/Dependency Injection, and Docker in software development and deployment environments.
• Support application deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting within Linux environments.
• Collaborate with engineering team members to develop and maintain reliable, scalable software solutions.
• Support containerized applications and infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Contribute to front-end development and UI enhancements as needed.
• Work with customer teams to support mission requirements and deliver software solutions.
Required Qualifications
• Strong Java software development experience.
• Strong Linux skills and experience working in Linux-based development environments.
• Experience with Git, Gradle, Guice/Dependency Injection, Docker, and RESTful services.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small, collaborative engineering team.
• Willingness to work in customer spaces or an offsite SCIF.
Desired Qualifications
• Experience with the ELK Stack, MongoDB, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
• Front-end development experience using Angular and TypeScript.
• Willingness to support limited-scope UI development and enhancements.
• Experience with software integration, deployment, and troubleshooting in mission-focused environments.
