Emporia Energy

Emporia is a home energy management company on a mission to revolutionize how homeowners power their lives - making energy simple, affordable, and automatic for every home.

Founded in 2018 in Littleton, Colorado, we make the Vue Home Energy Monitor, Level 2 EV Chargers, Smart Plugs, and Home Battery - connected through a single platform that automates how homes consume and manage energy.

The platform runs circuit-level monitoring, time-of-use scheduling, load balancing, and demand response participation - all through one app, without the homeowner having to think about it. The goal is simple: lower energy bills, less effort. 400,000+ homes connected. 50B+ energy data points collected. No monthly fee for core monitoring.

We're solving real problems: EV chargers are the largest new load ever added to the residential grid, homes are generating and storing their own power, and electricity demand is climbing. Emporia coordinates all of it.

Our mission: make home energy simple, affordable, and automatic for every homeowner. Our goal: the largest virtual power plant in the nation - millions of intelligent homes, working together as the grid. emporiaenergy.com
