Elite Key Solutions Group is seeking dependable, professional, and hardworking individuals to join our janitorial team serving a busy cruise terminal.
Positions Available 2 Full-Time Working Janitorial Supervisors
2 Part-Time Janitorial Workers
TWIC Badge - REQUIRED
All positions require a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card. Applicants must maintain a valid TWIC credential and meet all applicable cruise terminal security and access requirements throughout employment.
Full-Time Working Janitorial Supervisors The Working Janitorial Supervisor is a hands-on supervisory position. Supervisors will actively perform janitorial and cleaning duties while also overseeing the daily work of the part-time janitorial staff.
Responsibilities include:
Performing hands-on cleaning and sanitation duties.
Supervising and coordinating assigned janitorial employees.
Assigning daily cleaning areas and responsibilities.
Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, passenger areas, hallways, offices, and other assigned areas.
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
Collecting and properly disposing of trash and recycling.
Responding to spills and urgent cleaning needs.
Monitoring cleaning supplies, equipment, and PPE.
Providing guidance and training to janitorial employees.
Monitoring attendance, punctuality, and job performance.
Completing cleaning checklists and inspection reports.
Reporting safety hazards, maintenance concerns, incidents, or other issues to management.
Serving as the on-site point of contact.
Ensuring employees follow all terminal safety, security, and access procedures.
This is a working supervisor position. Supervisors are expected to participate directly in daily cleaning operations and will not function solely in an administrative or supervisory capacity.
Part-Time Janitorial Workers Part-time employees will assist the Working Janitorial Supervisors with daily cleaning operations, including:
Cleaning and disinfecting assigned areas.
Cleaning and maintaining restrooms.
Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
Emptying trash and recycling containers.
Cleaning glass, mirrors, doors, fixtures, and other surfaces.
Replenishing restroom and cleaning supplies.
Responding to spills and immediate cleaning needs.
Properly using cleaning chemicals, equipment, and PPE.
Following assigned cleaning schedules and checklists.
Reporting safety hazards, maintenance issues, or other concerns to the supervisor.
Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor with passengers and terminal personnel.
Minimum Requirements
Valid TWIC card required.
Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures.
Ability to work in a busy, high-traffic environment.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift cleaning supplies/equipment.
Must be able to safely use cleaning products and equipment.
Must comply with all required terminal security screening, training, and safety requirements.
Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, evenings, or other shifts based on terminal operations.
Uniform Requirements Employees will be required to wear a company-provided uniform shirt, appropriate work pants, closed-toe slip-resistant footwear, and any required PPE or safety equipment while on duty.
