Position Summary: NETSCOUT is looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Lead Engineer who can train and manage data collection teams to perform high- quality field measurements in customer markets across the U.S. to be used for propagation model tuning. The lead engineer will ensure on-time project deliveries through planning, scheduling, training, analyzing and troubleshooting, communicating, and reporting.
This position is full-time contract work for 5-6 months and is an excellent entry into the wireless telecommunications industry. The right candidate will be a motivated team leader and a productive self-starter who will interface with managers, lead engineers, field engineers, project coordinators, drivers, tower crews, customer market contacts, and R.F. calibration engineers. The position requires 50-75% travel within the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Train field engineers and drivers to perform all of their daily tasks

- Work with Q.A. and F.E. to correct any issues with data and help F.E. understand the importance of all requirements
