The brand began franchising in 1995 and opened its first non-traditional location in 1997. Since then, it has become a leading brand in the breakfast segment, with a total of 700 locations across 40 states.
Einstein Bros. Bagels is part of Bagel Brands, a subsidiary of Panera Brands, which includes Bruegger’s Bagels, Manhattan Bagel, and Noah’s NY Bagels. Across all Bagel Brands there are just under 1,000 locations.
