Eastern Greene Elementary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated 1st Grade teacher to join our team.
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana teaching licensure preferred.
- Interest in sponsoring/coaching extra-curricular activities preferred.
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Enthusiasm for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Job Goal:
- To provide high-quality instruction aligned to Indiana Academic Standards in a nurturing and engaging classroom environment.
- To support the academic, social, and emotional development of all students through differentiated instruction and meaningful relationships.
- To contribute to the continued excellence and growth of Eastern Greene Elementary’s educational programming.

- Maintain high standards as a role model, both in and out of the classroom, while advocating the skills, mission, and objectives of the school and district
- Deliver effective, standards-based instruction in person
- Integrate technology into daily instruction and support digital learning as needed
- Foster good citizenship, fairness, and integrity in the classroom community
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Collaborate across grade levels and content areas to enrich student learning
- Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills
- Perform other duties as assigned by the principal
