Original job description

East End Cooperative Ministry changes the lives of those facing the impacts of poverty. Whether offering meals and pantry items to those who are experiencing food insecurity, working alongside those without a safe place to live and recover and with barriers to obtaining employment, or reaching out to young people to help them work toward a brighter future, EECM is always here

The Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM), ensuring accurate financial reporting, sound internal controls, compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and adherence to federal, state, and grant regulations. The Controller provides strategic financial guidance to leadership while managing day-to-day accounting functions that support EECM's mission of serving individuals and families throughout Pittsburgh's East End.
