Job Duties
E‑FFICIENT School Transportation (EST) is hiring school bus drivers to transport students safely throughout the Twin Cities metro area. This part-time position generally includes morning and afternoon school routes with a break between shifts. Additional trips may be available based on operational needs.
Drivers perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, follow assigned routes and schedules, assist with safe student loading and unloading, communicate with dispatch, and complete required child checks and trip records. Drivers must follow traffic laws, student transportation procedures, and EST safety policies.
Applicants must hold the license and endorsements required for the assigned bus, have an acceptable driving record, and meet applicable background check, medical, training, and drug and alcohol testing requirements. Experience transporting students, including students with disabilities, is welcome.
