Job Description
Dynamic Duo Support LLC is hiring a Part‑Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist a 31‑year‑old man with an intellectual disability in Toms River, NJ. The position involves hands‑on personal care, including toileting, bathing, and medication support, as well as accompanying in the community for shopping, meals, and other outings. Candidates should be comfortable providing personal care and committed to promoting independence, community engagement, and ongoing personal development.
Schedule: Thursday, Friday 3:30 PM–6:30 PM, Saturday 09:30 AM–3:30 PM (12 hours/week)
$18–$22 per hour starting rate (experience-based/ negotiable.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support and companionship
Transport and accompany the client to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands
Assist with household tasks, including tidying, organizing, and daily routines
Support with shopping, cooking, and meal preparation
Encourage participation in community activities and foster social connections
Promote independence and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Create a positive, respectful, and supportive environment
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in direct support roles (preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Adult First Aid/CPR certification
