Halsted Street, Chicago, IL 60607 Position: Restaurant General Manager | Full-Time Compensation: $45000.00 - $55000.00 per year About the Opportunity We're looking for an experienced, motivated, and hands-on General Manager to lead our Dunkin' restaurant located inside the University of Illinois Chicago's Student Center East. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, delivering excellent guest service, and taking ownership of restaurant performance. Our location serves a busy university community, and we're looking for a leader who can build a strong team, maintain high operating standards, and create a positive experience for every guest. What You'll Do
- Lead daily restaurant operations with a focus on guest service, speed, accuracy, and product quality.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a reliable, high-performing team.
- Build effective schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels to support business needs.
- Maintain Dunkin' brand standards, food safety, cleanliness, and operational compliance.
- Manage inventory, ordering, labor, food costs, and other controllable expenses.
- Monitor restaurant performance, identify opportunities, and implement improvements to increase sales and profitability.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and accountable team environment.
- Lead by example, working alongside your team and supporting operations during busy periods.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in quick-service restaurants.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Experience managing staffing, scheduling, inventory, and restaurant financial performance.
- A commitment to food safety, operational excellence, and outstanding guest service.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and take ownership of results.
- Availability to work early mornings and other shifts as business needs require.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Required food safety certification or willingness to obtain it.
