We are looking for a hardworking, dependable Laborer to join our crew. You will assist in the installation and repair of critical infrastructure, including septic systems and watermain systems. Key Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in manual digging, trenching, and backfilling around existing utilities.
- System Installation: Support the installation of septic tanks, drain fields, and watermain piping.
- Equipment Support: Assist operators with the setup and maintenance of excavators and specialized utility tools.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe job site by following OSHA standards, including proper shoring and trench safety protocols.
- Site Restoration: Help restore job sites to their original condition once underground work is complete.
Qualifications and Skills
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy lifting, kneeling, and shoveling in various outdoor weather conditions.
- Safety Mindset: Awareness of the hazards associated with underground utility work and trenching.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a small, family-oriented crew.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable using hand/power tools; experience with pipe lasers or transit levels is a plus but not required.
- Reliability: Must have a valid drivers license and dependable transportation to job sites.
