Dragonfly Cafe is a fairly new cafe in Lowell Massachusetts in a beautifully renovated mill building. Our cafe focuses on high-quality ingredients and is a scratch kitchen to ensure we are giving our customers food that is rejuvenating. We are a completely gluten-free kitchen, and our goal is to transform the way people see gluten-free and healthy food. We want to deliver exceptional service and uphold the highest standards in food & drink quality.\ We have grown rapidly over the past year and want to expand our offerings and options as a business. With that comes the need for another creative and experienced mind in the kitchen. We are looking for someone who has a true passion for healthy eating and feeding our community nourishing food.\ Our Artisans do it all, they are a dedicated group of people passionate about the food they serve. From prepping fresh ingredients to assembling the meals on the line, they\'ve built a strong reputation for efficiency and quality. We\'d love for you to be a part of our growing team.\ Activities & Responsibilities:\
- Prepare hot and cold food items including raw fruits and vegetables, sauces, salads, baked goods, etc.\
- Assemble food orders such as salads, rice bowls, and sandwiches on the line.\
- Use creative culinary knowledge to help cultivate innovative recipes and procedures.\
- Executive catering and special event plans.\
- Take daily inventories using Prep Lists and Par Sheets.\
- Execute on and complete daily checklists for open, close, and other miscellaneous tasks.\
- Attentively follow recipes, portions, cooking methods, quality standards, policies, procedures, and best practices\
- Clean and sanitize of all kitchen equipment and surfaces according to policy.\
- Wash dishes as needed for your station.\
- Routinely take and record temperature of food and food storage areas, such as refrigerators and freezers\
- Remove trash, recycling, compost and clean all containers.\
- Carry food supplies, equipment, and utensils to and from storage and work areas.\
- Use manual or electric appliances to clean, peel, slice, and process foods.\
- Attend all scheduled team meetings and actively engage to improve our cafe and team.\
