Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – All Shifts
Location: Ditmas Park, Brooklyn, NY Facility: Ditmas Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Position: Full-Time / Part-Time Shifts Available: Day, Evening & Night Pay: $20–$23 per hour
Position Overview Ditmas Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our nursing team. We are hiring for all three shifts - day, evening, and night. This is an excellent opportunity for CNAs looking to join an established skilled nursing facility where quality patient care, teamwork, and professionalism are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Assist residents with meals, hydration, positioning, and transfers
- Take and record vital signs and report changes in a resident's condition to the nursing team
- Respond promptly to resident needs and call bells
- Maintain resident comfort, dignity, privacy, and safety at all times
- Follow individualized care plans and instructions from licensed nursing staff
- Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment
- Communicate effectively with nurses, residents, families, and other members of the care team
- Accurately complete required documentation
- Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Current New York State CNA certification required
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to safely perform the physical responsibilities of the position
