Position: Housekeeping Staff Schedule: Sunday thru Thursday Shift: 9:00am - 3:00pm
Job Summary:
At Dimensions Living Monroe, we're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team! As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our senior living community. Responsibilities:
- Keep it Clean & Cozy:
- Clean resident apartments and common areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces to ensure a healthy and pleasant environment
- Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, and folding linens and personal clothing
- Restock housekeeping supplies and keep storage areas neat and organized
- Support Resident Well-Being:
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment to reduce health risks and improve quality of life
- Follow resident schedules and preferences when performing services to promote comfort and satisfaction
- Alert leadership to maintenance concerns or safety hazards you notice during your rounds
- Be a Team Player:
- Collaborate with care staff and other departments to meet resident needs
- Step in to assist during special events, seasonal deep cleans, or when a teammate needs a hand
- Treat residents and coworkers with kindness, dignity, and respect at all times
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols
- Positive attitude and excellent time management skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and carry throughout a full shift
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and use housekeeping equipment safely
- Willingness to complete required training and safety certifications upon hire
