Original job description

Launch Your Sales Career with a Company That Invests in You.

Looking for more than just your first job after college?

At Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply, we're looking for ambitious, competitive people who want to build a career - not just collect a paycheck.

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll receive professional sales training, mentorship from experienced Account Executives, and the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions while developing the skills to become a top-performing salesperson.

No previous sales experience? That's okay. If you're driven, coachable, and enjoy talking with people, we'll teach you the rest. What Makes This Role Different Not sure sales is for you? This role is the low-risk way to find out. Full training, real support, and a fast track to becoming an Account Executive - all while getting paid.

Earn while you learn. Base salary, commissions, bonuses, and a car allowance.

Move up fast. Prove yourself and move into an AE role.

Real mentorship. Work alongside sales pros who want you to succeed.

Every day is different. Meet business owners, prospect new leads, pitch, close deals.

Learn from the best. In-house Sandler Sales Training that pays off for your whole career.

What You'll Do:

Build Relationships

Prospect new customers through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, and local business outreach - using AI tools to help identify and research the right targets faster.
Connect with business owners and decision-makers to understand their challenges.
Identify opportunities where Dempsey can improve a customer's image, safety, and operational efficiency.

Grow the Business

Present Dempsey's uniform and linen rental solutions to small and mid-sized businesses.
Manage the sales process from initial conversation through signed agreement for designated accounts.
Partner with senior Account Executives on larger opportunities while learning from experienced professionals.

Stay Organized

Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity within Salesforce.
Manage your sales pipeline and consistently follow up with prospects.
Achieve monthly activity, meeting, and revenue goals while continually developing your skills.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree required (recent grads welcome!)
0–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
Excellent communication skills - confident and clear over phone, video, and in person
Competitive, self-motivated, and eager to learn
Highly coachable with a positive attitude
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance (local travel required)

What You’ll Get:

$50,000–$75,000+ first-year earnings (base + bonus + commission)
Paid Sandler Sales Training from a top in-house trainer
Uncapped commission structure with clear promotion path to AE
Full benefits package: health, dental, 401(k) with match, PTO, mileage reimbursement
A chance to build your sales career with a respected, family-owned company that believes in growth from within

Ready to Level Up?

If you’re hungry to learn, ready to work hard, and excited to start a meaningful career in sales, we want to hear from you.

Apply today and let’s grow together.
