Cutting Edge Sports is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Production Assistant to support its garment production operations. In this role, you will work closely with operators and supervisors to keep production moving smoothly, maintain product quality, and prepare finished items for shipment. This position offers an opportunity to learn sewing, cutting, finishing, and other production processes through on-the-job training. Responsibilities Assist sewing, cutting, and finishing operators with tasks such as trimming, folding, cutting materials, and removing production waste. Supply fabric, trims, and other components to machines and workstations as needed. Help prepare machines and equipment for operation. Inspect and sort products, identify defective items, and check that finished items meet specifications. Pack finished garments, apply labels, and prepare orders for shipment. Record production information, including quantities, product types, and sizes. Report material shortages or damaged items and update inventory records. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe by sweeping and removing debris. Collaborate with operators, supervisors, and other team members to meet production targets. Follow workplace health, safety, and quality procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive production tasks. Strong attention to detail and awareness of product quality. Physical stamina to perform manual production tasks. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to different production processes. Previous production experience is not required. Training will be provided.
