As a Night Shift Material Handler your primary role will be to support the Night Shift Manufacturer Team . You will be responsible for supporting efficient operations within the Slitting Department by loading and unloading slitters with work-in-progress (WIP) materials, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and butt rolls, and accurately rotating and recording WIP in the ERP system. This role includes supplying packaging materials, preparing finished goods through banding and shrink-wrapping, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.
Additional responsibilities include performing all forklift operations, assisting with equipment setup for subsequent shifts, managing scrap removal, organizing foil racks and cores for shipment, and supporting overall logistics through truck loading, unloading, and order handling. You will be trained extensively in safety, production familiarization, task completion, and forklift operation to ensure you are fully prepared for the role.
