This is a temporary to hire position based upon overall attendance and performance. The Merchandise Processor will, under general supervision, perform any of the following activities as assigned: moves, tracks, sorts and handles product throughout the order fulfillment process. Functions may include but not limited to picking, packing, sorting, shipping, running, inspecting and auditing. Candidate Requirements: - 1 year work experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred - High School diploma or GED Required - Minimum Requirements Include: Ability to understand, take and follow direction Ability to read labels Experience with scanners - Standing, Walking, Vision, Hearing, Reaching, Kneeling - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively - Essential Required Duties: - Lifting merchandise onto and off conveyer or pallets - Performing receiving - Build and stack boxes - Create shipping labels - Unpack, sort and count product and stage for picking - Affix labels to product for orders to be monogrammed - Pick product within group and place in totes, ensure the exact number and type of products, ordered by the customer, are checked and packed correctly - Using scanner, audit order for accuracy - Re-bag product and verify group integrity - Separate groups into individual orders - Running for missing pieces or shortages of pieces - Pack order - Audit order for accuracy before shipping, Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customers order to ensure outgoing product shipments are complete and correct.
