MDS Director – RN Complete Care | New Jersey
Complete Care is seeking an experienced MDS Director (RN) to oversee the MDS process at one of our skilled nursing facilities in New Jersey. We are looking for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented professional with strong clinical assessment skills and a thorough understanding of MDS, PDPM, and reimbursement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the MDS assessment process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines and state and federal regulations.
- Manage care planning, documentation, and reimbursement accuracy.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to support quality resident care.
- Monitor quality measures and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide guidance and education to staff regarding MDS processes and requirements.
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey RN license or valid Compact RN license required.
- Prior MDS experience in a skilled nursing facility required.
- RAC-CT (Resident Assessment Coordinator – Certified) certification strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MDS 3.0, PDPM, Medicare, and Medicaid reimbursement.
- Previous MDS leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with PointClickCare preferred.
