Columbus school district is seeking both General Education & Special Education Support Personnel substitutes who are interested in working in a variety of environments around the school such as, but not limited to, food service, custodial, front office, library, and lunch/recess duties. Licensed Teachers are encouraged to apply. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Aid the student(s) in academic tasks, both individually and in small groups • Provide supervision to students during specified hours • Attend training/workshops on related issues as assigned • Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about all students, student records, and school business • The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or illegal substance in the workplace in compliance with District Policy Regulation 3122 throughout his/her employment in the District • Staff member shall serve as a positive role model • Such other duties as may be assigned
