Summary:
The responsibility of a Metal Blender/Sander is to smooth, polish or sand metal components through hand held sanding equipment.
Responsibilities:
- De-burr metal components to meet with the quality specifications.
- Perform self-inspection to ensure conformance to quality standards.
- Examine work pieces for defects and report to the team leader if found.
- On occasions, perform minor equipment maintenance.
- Wear Personal Protection Equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
This position will work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to heavy equipment, machinery, and related noise levels. Position will be primarily working in a standing position for up to 6 plus hours per day. Some duties will require sitting for short periods of time. Must be capable of lifting 0-50lbs. in the proper ergonomic position.
