Account Manager / Appointment Setter
Welcome to Client Focus. Thanks for stopping by!
Finding a new job is a big deal. So is finding a new team member. And we’re careful about it. We’ve built a great culture based on a shared purpose and core values. We need people who can share them with us. Plus, we invest heavily in developing our people, so we look for candidates who will use our investment to better themselves personally and professionally.
Should you apply?
Is our Account Manager position a good fit for you? Here’s a quick checklist:
- Are you comfortable working in an outbound call center?
- Can you thrive in a fully remote role? (WFH isn’t for everyone.)
- Do you prefer freedom and accountability over being micromanaged?
- Do you want to work in, and contribute to, a culture that’s based on values and purpose?
- Are you eager to stretch yourself and increase your career potential?
- Are you able to work full-time?
If the answer is, “yes,” we could be a good fit for you. Let’s get into more detail. Here’s what the job entails.
We set appointments for insurance agents to meet with their customers. These meetings are important for both the agents and their customers. They help the agent be able to keep their customers long term, help build rapport between the agent and their clients, and ensure clients are properly protected. The problem that these insurance agents are facing is they don’t have the time to set up these meetings with their customers. So, they outsource the appointment setting to us. We call their customers and book appointments for them, so they can meet and review everything together.
The bulk of the job is making those calls (200-250 per day) and scheduling appointments. It’s a low-pressure, high-impact, friendly call. And we have scripts to guide you and make it simple.
The other side of the job is you’ll work with a portfolio of agents every month. These are the agents you are scheduling appointments for. You get to own that relationship. And as you get to know them, their team, and their business they will begin to think of you like a virtual team member.
Does this still sound like this position would be a good fit for you?
If so, here’s what will make you a good fit for us.
- You’re a good person who wants to contribute to a great company culture.
- You feel strongly about our shared purpose and core values.
- You want to grow, develop new abilities, and improve your market value.
- You take ownership of and pride in the results you produce, not the boxes you check.
- You can get your work done without a supervisor constantly checking in on you.
- You’re willing to color outside the lines without always asking for permission.
- You can work in an outbound call center without burning out.
- You have good job longevity.
- You have a quiet workspace without distractions.
- You have a reliable internet connection (5+ Mbps up, 10+ Mbps down).
There are some other things, like good time management, organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, etc. We can help you develop those skills if you’re willing to learn them.
