Perform general landscape and grounds maintenance, including: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, mulching, digging, and raking. Assist with sprinkler installation, installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units, snow removal, and de‑icing. Coordinate and engage in landscaping or groundskeeping activities. Complete residential and commercial projects and/or garden maintenance. Ensure that the necessary tools and materials are available to accomplish projects. Record time, productivity, and material usage. Provide workers with assistance in performing duties as necessary to meet deadlines. Ensure adherence to plans and quality of work. Maintain or repair equipment, such as power tools or motorized equipment. Transplant or prune trees or shrubs; finish cement (installation of patio pavers and/or flagstone); use equipment; and care for turf. Recommend changes in working conditions or equipment used to increase crew efficiency. Participate in the operation and maintenance of sprinkling, mowing, snow removal and related machinery and equipment. Promote safety, performance, and well‑being of all crews. Use the following tools to remove snow: shovels, snow blowers, and Bobcat skid steers.
Requirements:
Six (6) months of related experience as a Grounds Maintenance Worker or related occupation. Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs. Must be available to work weekends.
