As our North America team continues to grow, we're looking for talented Principal Consultants to join our team. Whether you're currently working as a Solutions Design Consultant, Workstream Lead, Implementation Lead, Delivery Lead, Team Manager, Business Change Lead, Subject Matter Expert (SME), Product Owner, Business Architect, Operating Model Lead, Data Lead, or in a senior transformation role within the buy-side investment management industry, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced consultants and industry practitioners on some of the industry's most impactful change initiatives.
Role Overview
As a Principal Consultant, you will play a leading role in delivering complex business, operational, data, and technology transformation initiatives across the asset and wealth management industry. Working closely with clients and project teams, you will provide subject matter expertise, lead project delivery, define engagement approaches, and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
Our Principal Consultants combine deep investment management expertise, strong consulting and programme delivery skills, and a passion for helping clients navigate change.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead consulting engagements across business, operational, data, and technology initiatives.
- Define client-specific delivery approaches, services, and deliverables.
- Manage large-scale projects and transformation programmes.
- Provide subject matter expertise across investment management domains.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Support business development through proposal development and solution design.
- Participate in steering committees, workshops, and governance forums.
- Mentor and develop consultants across the Citisoft team.
- Contribute to thought leadership, knowledge sharing, and practice development activities.
Skills & Experience
We're interested in candidates who bring:
- 12+ years' experience delivering complex transformation initiatives within investment management, consulting, or financial services environments.
- Proven experience as a Senior Program Manager, Senior Project Manager, Transformation Lead, Delivery Lead, PMO Lead, Engagement Manager, Solutions Consultant, or similar role.
- Strong buy-side investment management expertise across operations, technology, and data.
- Experience leading complex projects, managing stakeholders, and driving successful delivery outcomes.
- Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders up to executive level.
- Strong consulting, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience mentoring and developing teams.
