Head Start is looking for qualified substitute teachers. Substitute teachers will implement the lesson plans left by the classroom teacher. Substitute teachers will be responsible for maintaining a safe classroom environment and implementing positive guidance strategies. Substitute teachers will be in classrooms of 15-18 children ages 3-5 and will be working with another teacher. Locations include Rock Lake Activity Center (Lake Mills), The Collective (Watertown), Hebron Community Center (Fort Atkinson), Purdy Elementary (Fort Atkinson), Jefferson East Elementary (Jefferson) - substitute determines which location they are willing to work at and travel to. EC 1 & 2 $95.00 a day Associates Degree $150.00 a day Bachelor's Degree $200.00 a day Substitute teachers must pass a fingerprinting background check.
