Centro Mexican Kitchen

Big Red F is a family of independent restaurants rooted in community, hospitality, and a love for food that brings people together. Born in Boulder, Colorado, we’ve grown from a single neighborhood into a family of award-winning concepts including Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar, The Post Colorado, West End Tavern, Centro Mexican Kitchen, Velvet Elk Lounge, and Wonder Press Juice.

Hospitality is everything we do! Our mission is simple: Serve delicious and memorable hospitality. Whether it’s oysters on the half shell, fried chicken with a cold beer, slow-smoked BBQ, or fresh-pressed juice, each of our restaurants has its own spirit - yet all are connected by an unwavering commitment to creating outstanding memories and experiences for our guests around eating & drinking.

We believe restaurants should do more than feed people - they should fuel connection. That’s why we partner with local purveyors, celebrate Colorado’s seasons and ingredients, and support organizations making meaningful change across the Front Range and beyond.

At Big Red F, we are committed to the happiness of our guests, the success of our team, and the connection to our communities. That’s the work we love, and we’ve been at it for more than 30 years.
