Job Locations: Montandon and Northumberland Sand Plants Job Description: 1. Full Time Employment (Seasonal layoffs possible). 2. As a quarry plant employee you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery used in the extrication, crushing, screening and distribution of aggregate materials. You'll work in a team to ensure production targets are met while adhering to strict health and safety regulations. Essential responsibilities include: 1. Operate heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators and loaders to extract materials from quarries. 2. Monitor equipment operation and perform regular maintenance checks to ensure safe and efficient performance. 3. Control and adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal production levels. 4. Inspect materials for quality control and adjust production processes accordingly. 5. Transport materials from the quarry to the processing plant or storage areas using trucks or conveyor belts. 6. Follow safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations. 7. Collaborate with other quarry workers and managers to ensure smooth and efficient operations. 8. Record and report production data and equipment maintenance needs to supervisors. Job Requirements: 1. Ability to operate and maintain heavy machinery and equipment. 2. Understanding of safety regulations and procedures. 3. Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor conditions. 4. Strong communication skills for coordinating with other team members. 5.
