About the Job I am having surgery in late January and am looking for someone to help me during the first week or two afterward. I'm looking for a reliable, warm, proactive person to provide household support while I recover. This is a temporary position for the first week after surgery, approximately 9:00 AM-3:00 p.m. each day.
This is not a medical or personal-care position. I will be independent with bathing, dressing, medications, etc. The goal is simply to have someone in the house during the day who can take care of routine tasks so I can focus on resting and recovering.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assembling and heating prepared meals (little to no actual cooking)
- Cleaning up dishes after meals and loading/unloading the dishwasher
- Refilling water and bringing me food or other items as needed
