About the Job Respect, transparency, being courteous, open communication, and having manners are very important values to us. We are very easy going, we love to talk, sing, dance and play. We’re always laughing so having a sense of humor is nice. Education is also very important , we’re always looking for opportunities to build a skill with the kids so being able to teach or practice a skill with the kids helps.
The kids love building , playing pretend or dress up, jumping around, chasing each other around , painting or drawing , and watching tv.
The youngest child is potty training so assistance with that helps.
We want the caregiver to be family orientated. I want them to be able to regulate themselves and regulate the children without getting over stimulated. The caregiver should be responsible , honest , know how to take initiative , follow direction well, be confident in all aspects of caregiving (emergencies , cooking, problem solving). Use critical thinking skills, be attentive to the children, actively engaged with them if the kids want to play.
I have parking in my community but I don’t believe there is public transit in my area.
