Canduct Industries is seeking to hire production workers, to fill multiple positions on first and second shift. The production worker will manufacture insulation components per customer requirements / specifications. Core Competencies: Attendance Teamwork Health & Safety Attitude Cleanliness Problem solving Quality of work Quantity of work Time management Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Use various tools / machinery to manufacture insulation components Assemble products Follow customer technical drawings and processes Follow company health & safety, housekeeping initiatives Carry out basic quality checks Use equipment/forklifts to fulfill orders Pack goods to be shipped Maintain work areas and equipment Initiate action to prevent or reduce the discharge and/or disposal of waste into the environment Identify and record problems related to the handling or disposal of waste in the process Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities related to product, processes, and quality system. This includes halting the production of any product to correct quality problems. Identify and record any problems related to the product, process, or quality system. Verify, or participate in the verification of, implemented solutions. Other duties as directed Experience, Skills & Knowledge: Attention to detail Prior woodworking experience Ability to read tape measure & ruler (metric & imperial) Prior machine operation experience Comfortable working independently and within a team dynamic. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Qualifications and Requirements: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. Must be able to pass a background check. Work Conditions: Manufacturing environment. Mandatory personal protective equipment includes safety shoes, hearing and eye protection.
